Ladies and gentlemen thank you for looking at this impressive set of wheels, 2001 Mercedes Benz S500 with 105K miles. The car has never been in an accident and it is Carfax certified. Large Mercedes sedans have always been the most sought-after by the elite. They scream success, are engineered to be driven hard, and keep the general public at bay. The S-Class projects confidence, prestige and good taste. Sporting a coupe-like profile and a traditional oval-headlight face, the 2001 S-Class looks lean and sleek while weighing nearly 500 pounds less than the previous-generation model. Careful attention to interior packaging gives the current version a roomy cabin and a large 15.4 cubic foot trunk.
The 302-horsepower S500, which boasts a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood is in excellent condition. suited up with fully independent four-link front and five-link rear suspensions, ABS Brake Assist (which reduces braking distance in panic stops), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and BabySmart child-seat protection. Eight airbags are standard, including two head-protection curtain airbags and a passenger airbag that deploys with partial or full force, depending on the car's speed at impact. New on the S-Class is a standard COMAND (Cockpit Management And Data) system, which can be directed by voice commands, steering-wheel controls or buttons near the display screen. The system controls the navigation program, hands-free cellular phone and stereo/CD controls. Another new innovation is Mercedes' TeleAid function, which puts a driver in touch with a Protection One representative for help in emergencies, roadside assistance or general information. Also premiering on the 2001 S-Class is a smart cruise control system that utilizes radar sensors to keep the car at a specified distance from the car in front of you. When the car you are following slows down, the S-Class automatically applies the brakes to maintain the specific distances you have set.

As far as options, the car is equipped with the most impressive optional tool; the ABC (Active Body Control) which uses a hydraulic servo mounted atop each coil spring to control body roll, dive and squat. Toss it into a tight corner, and the S will remain flat and composed, laughing at your efforts to produce unwanted wallow or pitch. Settings for ABC include normal and sport to accommodate different levels of driving enthusiasm.  Also the car comes with front and rear parking sensors and  ventilated seats that circulates air through the cushion, 14-way power front seats and a tilt/telescoping steering column.

The car runs strong and been maintained on regular bases. The engine is healthy and strong which is not surprising on those cars that known for running over 250K miles without engine rebuilt. The transmission shifts smooth, and the car feels sturdy and intact. The car has been enrolled in a service / maintenance contract since 80K miles and been maintained on regular bases. We are willing to provide an extended warranty for 70K miles / 5 years as part of the deal. It is a unique and impressive car ladies and gentlemen and will get you lots of compliments for sure.
